Country Mexico is the third largest country in Latin America and the most densely populated Spanish-speaking country. It offers the visitor a variety of contrasts hardly comparable to any other country: desert with cacti, tropical rain forests, sandy beaches as white as snow, 5,000 metre high mountains and... and... . Those interested in history and culture also get their money's worth: Sites of bygone cultures, as for example the Aztecs, Olmecs or Mayas even today are still witnesses to the earlier highly-developed cultures. Colonial cities like Zacatecas or Guanajuato testify Spanish colonial times and they fascinate with their charm and individual type of construction.
Climate Due to Mexico's vast area, it is divided into different climatic zones and can be visited throughout the whole year. The dry season lasts from November to April.
